Thank you for choosing A & N Sod Supply Inc as your sod supplier. We are pleased to have the opportunity to serve you. This page is designed to walk you through the process of doing business with our company and what you can expect when the product arrives.
Step 1:
Reservation. After you have chosen a date for your install, call or go online and make a reservation. A reservation should be made no less than 3 days out. You will need your name, address, credit card, phone number, the quantity and type of grass you want, and where you would like it placed. Be sure to include 4 to 7% addition for culling and edging. Since our product is freshly harvested the day before delivery, changes in reservations must be made 48 hours in advance.
Step 2:
Pre-delivery. Please be sure the work area is ready for the delivery. If you are having a professional landscaper install the material, please don’t schedule him to arrive before 10 am unless there is other work to be done. Cones and flags need to be clearly visible and the address marked. Your card will be authorized (verified) for the cost of the material, and the sod will be harvested.
Step 3:
Delivery. Your sod should arrive at your address between 7 and 10 am. However, due to scheduling scenarios, it may arrive before then. We guarantee delivery to asphalt or concrete accessible areas. We will attempt to deliver to dirt areas provided we can do so without damaging your property or the equipment. Each truck is equipped with a lift for unloading. It requires 8 ½ feet of width to service an area.
Step 4:
Installation. Please be ready to install the material right away. You can expect some variation in the material, i.e. cut size and depth (this is a living product). There may be some dryness to the material due to the factors of heat and wind from the transportation. Once installed, water it right away. You may consider putting out a granular pesticide before watering as a preventative measure, but we do not recommend fertilizer. Water every day for 14 to 21 days, 1 inch in the early morning, then as needed.
